How sweet :) I have two girls and can only hope they stay as close as they are now. Nice blog, and I love that you and your sister still make up stories together. Awesome!

About this Blog

When I was a little girl, I made up stories while playing with my sister. We could spend hours playing with plastic dolls known as Barbies. They were all nearly identical in looks and yet we found a way to make each one unique through characterization and clothes. We brought these dolls to life.

Today, I still make up stories with my sister. Only this time, we use words on a screen to bring them to life. Many of the same elements we used with our dolls can be used in our stories as well. There is nothing quite as special as creating a story you want to read over and over again.

From Barbies to Words is a place for me to spill all the crazy thoughts that enter my head. I tend to think a lot when I'm driving and often times, I find myself musing about things that I would like to share with others. So, now I have a place to share.
